Who Is The Phantom Hand?

The Phantom Hand is a pseudonym for Philip Eggleston. I am a Minneapolis based designer specializing in logotypes and custom lettering. I was raised in a small town in Iowa where my only real connection to the outside world of graphic art was the local VHS rental shop. Later on, it became comic books and punk rock records. Then while I was in college, I bought a book about Art Chantry and it was a liberation. My goal with any project is to make work that's immediate and fun to look at.
